Veloterm Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how the Veloterm iOS app (“Veloterm”, “the app”), published by Vilee, LLC, handles your information. Veloterm does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data to the developer or any third party.

Data we collect

None. Veloterm has no developer backend, no analytics SDK, and no tracking. We do not operate any server that receives your data.

SSH credentials and hosts

Host details and secrets (passwords, private keys, passphrases) that you enter are stored only on your device, in the iOS Keychain, and are used solely to connect to the SSH servers you configure. They are never synced to us or to iCloud and never appear in logs.

AI assistant (bring your own key)

The optional AI assistant uses your own Anthropic API key, which you enter and which is stored in the iOS Keychain. When you invoke an AI action, the relevant terminal context and your request are sent directly from your device to Anthropic (api.anthropic.com) using your key. This data is not routed through any Vilee, LLC server. Anthropic’s handling of that data is governed by Anthropic’s own privacy policy and terms.

Network connections

The app connects only to (a) the SSH hosts you configure and (b) api.anthropic.com when you use the AI assistant. App Transport Security is enforced.

In-app purchases

Veloterm Pro is sold via Apple’s In-App Purchase. Purchase processing is handled by Apple; we do not receive your payment details.

Children

Veloterm is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from anyone.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
